Starting with Isaiah 40, it’s like the whole tone of the book changes. The tone is upbeat. The verbiage is joyful and triumphant. The outlook is hopeful. Chapter 44 continues that trend. Isaiah 40

This is arguably the best chapter in all of Isaiah. Such a relief after all that judgment. Such consolation, such promise, such justice, such mercy. May strength come to us as we wait on The Lord.
